Rewards

When students show real efforts and progress, you can simply click on the ➕ button next to their name on the leaderboard. This will reward students with 3 treasure boxes, from which they can choose one to open. Each box contains different amount of XPs.

Leaderboard

Based on the amount of XPs, students are ranked on a leaderboard. The leaderboard starts from zero in every lesson, providing each student with an equal chance to get the top spots.

Podium

At the end of the lesson, you can launch the podium to celebrate the Top 3 students on the leaderboard!

When to reward students?

When using carefully, the rewards can be a powerful tool reinforcing positive learning behaviors and motivating students.

You can reward students for their positive learning behavoirs such as:

• Consistent Participation: Reward students who consistently engage in class activities. This doesn't just mean those who answer questions correctly, but also those who regularly contribute to discussions, group work, and other learning activities.
• Mastery of Learning Objectives: Recognize students who achieve mastery in specific learning objectives. This can be based on assessments, projects, or other measurable outcomes.
• Improvement Over Time: Recognize students who show noticeable improvement in their understanding or skills, regardless of their starting level. This encourages a growth mindset, showing that effort and progress are valued.
• Helping Peers: Reward behaviors like helping classmates, collaborative problem-solving, and peer teaching. This fosters a supportive learning community and emphasizes the value of teamwork.
